Good work Benny! I'm glad to see the pollen worked and survived the long journey.
I also have Y. fila x rostrata seed pods on the specimen at the mail box along the street. This Yucca is self fertile. However, the other Y. fila x rostrata under the Southern Magnolia is not self fertile. I tried 50+ pollenations on that Yucca and none were successful. I was able to get one fruit on the Y. fila x rostrata under the Southern Magnolia (Y. 'filamentosa x rostrata' X gloriosa 'Tenn.') which is the reverse cross of the Y. gloriosa 'Tenn' X 'filamentosa x rostrata'. It should be interesting to see the differences between the two crosses.
