I hope that the new Hybrid will be also a small Yucca like the mother.

The Yucca filamentosa 'Zwerg' = 'Dwarf' is indeed smaller than the plants at your picture.
I shoot today some pictures to show you how small it is.

At my region I never seen yucca fruits which looks like such as that shown by you (Y. concava 'Coventry, Rhode Island') that fruits looks for me more like peanuts than to Yucca ;O)

I hope that the two seedlings that I have will survive to compare it with the Yucca filamentosa ‘Zwerg’.

Here is another picture which shows the small Yucca filamentosa, the plant behind the small filamentosa is also a Y. filamentosa but that size is more "comon" at the gardens of my region.

Sascha, that small Yucca is amazing. Please keep us posted as I'm interested to see what happens soon.........what will the offshoots look like?? I'm still surprised that the fruchte on this small Yucca is not 'constricted' in the middle of the pod like the Yuccas in my area.

It appears the native/naturalized Yuccas in Rhode Island have this 'constricted' middle. It's a common trait in my area. I believe Yucca filamentosa v concava is 'suppose' to have a 'constricted' fruchte. I'll try to find my old journals regarding the 'original' description of Y. filamentosa v concava. PS, I'll collect much more seed of the Coventry, RI seed to mail to everyone.

Even one of my Y. constricta x filamentosa hybrids has this constricted fruit (I need to take a close-up photo of the 'constricted' fruchte):

für heuer, und für mich überhaupt die erste Frucht. Das Blöde ist nur, dass ich in der Meinung, es wird eh wieder nix, nicht ordentlich aufgepasst habe. Jetzt weiß ich nicht, ob das Glauca mit sich selbst oder Glauca x Recurvifolia ist.
Time will tell...
