I am always enthusiastic about your collection of forms of yuccas from the east and southeast.
What height actually reaches the flower stalk of the Y. flaccida (former recurvifolia) Tennessee and how big are the flowers. I would be interested also, if the petals are quite thick, almost like an orange peel. There is a certain affinity to some giant yuccas here, I mean.

Happy New Year to you too! The flaccida 'Tenn' formerly recurvifolia 'Tenn' looks very similar to your Yucca. The bloom height is likely 7.5 to 8 feet (2.3m to 2.4m) tall. The length of the bottom of the white flowers to the top of the white flowers is probably 4 to 5 feet (1.2 m to 1.5m) which is great. It looks like a massive Yucca bloom and it the biggest (mass) of all blooms. It's not the tallest. The one unusual trait is that there are so many individual flowers on the bloom...........it's like it has double the flowers as a 'normal' bloom. I should could the number of blooms on each branch and I bet it will be much more than a 'normal' Yucca bloom.

Do you notice the same traits on your Yucca?

thanks for the Infos. This are in any case pretty plants.

The yuccas are shown in bloom around 2,5 to 3,5 m (8,20 to 11,5 feet) high. The leaves are about 80 cm (39.40 inch) and more long and up to 8 cm (3.15 inch) wide. The tepals are very fleshy, large until about 7.5 cm (2,76 inch) long. The plant grows in part out of the trunk. For me, however, I had no head shoots. However, I have observed in similar plants in place. The flower stalk is really fat at the base (foto) but i've forgotte how many! It is somewhat similar, but not identical to your Yucca flaccida Tennessee. Unfortunately, we know from the previous Introductions not (or no longer), where they came from originally.

yes this form of flaccida has a very large diameter bloom stalk. I'll try to take some close up photos of the flaccida this season when it blooms.

nice bloom............yes very similar.

The one unusual trait on the 'Tenn' flaccida is the number of individual flowers on each branch. I've never seen this trait on other Yuccas. I believe there are 2+ flowers for each 1 flower on a 'normal' Yucca bloom.
